Newfield are a well-established and forward-thinking fabrication company that pride ourselves in being able to offer stable long-term employment in the area.

The roles available are on a permanent and long-term basis, you will be contracted directly by Newfield Fabrication.

As a Robot Weld Operator, you will be responsible for the setting up and operating robotic welding machines to produce precision parts.

Overview
We are seeking skilled Robot Weld Operators to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with robotic welding machinery and be proficient in using a variety of tools to assemble metal components.

Responsibilities
– Set up and operate robotic welding machinery
– Actively and diligently manage all robot machine settings and making necessary adjustments
– Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances
– Inspection of own work in accordance with relevant engineering drawings and documentation
– Operate hand tools effectively
– Work with sheet metal on one off components as well as batch work

Skills
– Must have previous experience of machine operating
– Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
– Experience with hand tools
– Some basic welding experience would be advantageous but not essential
